Laura Stone is a critically acclaimed novelist of three books. Her debut earned a “best of” selection in USA Today, Lambda Literary Awards and Foreword Indie Awards. Her second made the American Library Association’s annual recommendation list and short-listed for Lambda Literary Awards’ “best of.” Her third still generates personal letters from readers about their similar experiences within the Mormon Church for 7. All three novels, The Bones of You, Bitter Springs, and And It Came to Pass were published by the award-winning LGBTQ publishing house, Interlude Press.
As a ghostwriter, Laura published over a thousand articles in MS Magazine, Psychology Today and the New York Times, among others. Currently, Laura works with nonfiction authors through the Top Three Book Workshop, led by editor and publishing strategist AJ Harper, whom she helped create and launch the program. She has worked with more than 100 authors as they develop, publish and market their must-read books.
Laura is a Master Gardener and once designed a four-acre garden for His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. She lives in Texas because that’s where the good tamales are.
